Florida State Tax Credits
The State of Florida provides qualified businesses an opportunity to participate in various tax credits and incentives. There are two Empowerment Zones in the state of Florida: Jacksonville and Miami/Dade County, both of which allow for the continuous tax benefits of employing individuals from those distressed areas. Additionally, Florida has set up both an Urban and Rural Job Tax Credit program for qualified businesses throughout the state.
